Ali Asghar Ansari, Head of the Executive Committee of the Kish International ICT Exhibition (2025 Kitex), stated in the presence of private sector ICT associations that the evaluation of the economic ecosystem in the Middle East indicates a shift toward leveraging technological capacities. The adoption of innovative technologies such as broadband, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and big data processing has positioned regional countries on the verge of a fundamental transformation. Ansari emphasized the necessity of setting aside differences and aligning private sector ICT associations as a crucial strategy. He added, "ICT associations, relying on specialized human capital and the production and commercialization of products and services, can use Kitex 2025 as a bridge for wealth creation and gaining a share in global markets." The former Deputy Minister of ICT elaborated on Kitex’s vision, noting that after fostering interactions among private sector associations and showcasing the capabilities of knowledge-based companies with an export-oriented approach—alongside Kitex’s inclusion in the ICT Ministry’s exhibition calendar—the event now requires a program where joint chambers of commerce, private ICT associations, technology service providers, and foreign clients can engage in discussions within a shared framework. Nasrollah Jahangard, Head of the Kitex 2025 Policy Council, highlighted that many global providers of technological products and services are not necessarily large corporations. He stressed, "Identifying and involving small companies that serve larger global firms will allow Kitex to move foreign investors beyond being mere exhibitors or passive visitors, fostering a competitive environment to expand their services and products. The Kish International ICT Exhibition and Conference (2025 Kitex) will be held from May 13 to 16, 2025, at the Kish International Permanent Fairground. With an export-oriented approach, the event aims to showcase the capabilities of ICT producers, strengthen the innovation chain, and promote commercialization in global markets under the slogan: "Kish: The Gateway to Exporting ICT Products and Services.
